Odds converter
Type a price in any format and the other two update, along with the probability it implies. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
That is not a price we can read. Try something like 2.50, 3/2 or +150.
How the conversions work
Fractional to decimal: divide the fraction and add one. 3 divided by 2 is 1.5, plus 1 gives 2.50.
Positive American to decimal: divide by 100 and add one. Plus 150 becomes 2.50.
Negative American to decimal: divide 100 by the absolute value and add one. Minus 200 becomes 1.50.
Decimal to implied probability: divide 1 by the price. 2.50 gives 0.40, which is 40 percent.
Questions
Which format should I use?
Decimal. Returns are stake multiplied by odds, and implied probability is 1 divided by the odds. Every operator on this list supports it.
What does implied probability mean?
It is the likelihood the price is describing. A decimal price of 4.00 implies 25 percent. If you think the true chance is higher than that, the price is in your favour.
Why do probabilities add up to more than 100?
The excess is the operator margin. On a two-way market totalling 105 percent, the margin is five percent, and that is what you are paying to place the bet.
