About Somalian Betting Sites

This is a comparison site for people in Somalia and the Somali diaspora who want to understand how offshore betting accounts actually work before they put money into one. We do not take bets. We never hold your money. We are not an operator and we are not an agent for one.

Why this site exists

Almost every English-language guide to betting in Somalia gets the same thing wrong. They list operators and quote bonuses without addressing the only question that matters from inside the country: none of these cashiers accepts EVC Plus, ZAAD, SAHAL or eDahab. Without the conversion to USDT on TRON, the entire list is useless. So we lead with payments and treat the operator list as secondary.

How we make money

Operators pay us a commission when a reader opens an account through one of our links. That is the only revenue this site has. It does not affect the order, the scores or the verdicts, and the methodology page sets out exactly how the order is built so you can check.

What we are not

• We are not lawyers. Gambling is prohibited under Somali law. We say so on every page, and we are not in a position to advise you on your own exposure.
• We are not tax advisers. Ask someone qualified where you live.
• We are not a complaints body. If an operator refuses your withdrawal, we have no leverage over them and neither does anyone else in Somalia.

Corrections

Offers, minimums and country restrictions change constantly. If something here is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the change. Accuracy is the only thing a site like this has to offer.

Who writes this

Everything here is published under the name of the site rather than an individual byline. Somalian Betting Sites is responsible for all of it as a publisher, and corrections come back to us rather than to a person whose name happens to sit at the top of a page.

We would rather be plain about that than attach invented bylines to a subject where being trusted matters. What should carry weight is not whose name is on a page but whether the page shows its working. Every figure we publish about an operator is either quoted from that operator's own published terms with a link to the exact page, or marked as not found. Where we have not tested something, we say so: read how we test, which sets out the weighting and is equally clear about what we have never measured.
