How to open a Vave account from Somalia

Before you start

Have three things ready: a phone number you control, the name exactly as it appears on your ID, and a plan for funding. For this operator that plan is USDT on the TRON network, converted from your mobile money wallet before you begin.

Step by step

1. Open the registration page. Use our link to Vave or type the address yourself. Do not follow a registration link sent to you in a message.
2. Choose how to register. Most operators offer one-click, phone number, or email. Phone number is the best option here: it gives you a recovery route and it is what support will ask for. One-click generates credentials you will lose.
3. Set country and currency. Select Somalia if it is listed. Choose USD as the currency. On Vave the currency cannot usually be changed afterwards, and picking one you cannot fund means paying a conversion spread on every transaction for the life of the account.
4. Enter your real name and date of birth. These must match the document you will upload later. A mismatch is the most common reason a withdrawal is refused, and it is not recoverable by argument.
