Why payments get blocked, and what to do

Three things cause almost every failed deposit: the wrong crypto network, a country restriction, or a bank that blocks gambling merchants. Each has a different fix.

Failure one. The wrong network

USDT exists on TRON as TRC20, on Ethereum as ERC20, and on BNB Chain as BEP20. They are different networks and they are not interchangeable. Send TRC20 tokens to an ERC20 address and the funds are permanently lost. No support ticket recovers them.

The fix is mechanical. Open the cashier, generate the address, and read the network label. It must say TRON or TRC20. Betify and BitStarz both advertise USDT without naming a network anywhere in their cashier, which we flag in their reviews. Confirm with support before sending a single dollar.

Failure two. Country restrictions

Every operator publishes a restricted country list, and registering from a blocked country will either fail at signup or produce an account that is closed when you try to withdraw. Somalia sits on the restricted list for Thrill and appears in prohibited country guidance for BitStarz. Wild.io excludes Somalia from its free spin offers specifically.

Failure three. The bank blocks it

This affects Somalis abroad rather than readers inside Somalia. UK, Irish and most EU banks decline gambling merchant category codes as a matter of policy. The transaction is not failing, it is being refused. There is no workaround worth pursuing, and attempting to disguise the transaction type is a good way to get a bank account closed.

Inside Somalia, note that the National Anti-Money Laundering Commission has directed financial institutions to block gambling-related transactions, which is part of why no cashier connects to a Somali wallet in the first place.

A short pre-deposit checklist

• Cashier network label says TRON or TRC20.
• Deposit address copied, never typed.
• Your country is not on the operator restricted list.
• Account name matches your ID exactly.
• A small test deposit first, before a real one.
